About the founder

Rev.Dr. Isaac Kumar, the founder and director of Shalom Children’s Home, was born and brought up in Dehradun. Uttarakhand, India. He himself comes from a humble family background and faced a lot a challenges since his childhood.

He dedicated his life to work for needy and downtrodden at a very young age as he was instilled with an increasing passion to bring hope, peace, and comfort to them. His commitment, farsightedness and aptitude to perceive helped him to lead a life of unhindered devotion to serve the society.
