Project: Shalom Residential Care

Sakshi comes from a miserably poor family background. Her father abandoned Sakshi and her mother

when she was just 3!

They soon became homeless and started living on the streets. Facing all the obstacles to live life, the

mother started working as a maid servant in several houses. She was still underpaid. With the small

amount of money she could not take care of herself and Sakshi. This girl grew up crawling in the streets.

Few years later, her mother got to know about Shalom Residential Care and enrolled her.

Sakshi now lives happily in a shelter with other girls of her age. She loves dancing and singing. With your

support and concern, Sakshi can continue living her life in a better way.
